GOLDEN GLOBE WINNING & OSCAR NOMINATED ACTRESS & COMEDIENNE

MO’NIQUE

BRINGS HER HIGHLY ANTICIPATED COMEDY TOUR TO LOS ANGELES
TICKETS ON SALE THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH AT 10AM

Not only is Mo’Nique riding high on winning the Washington, DC, Boston, Los Angeles and New York Film Critics' Awards, a SAG Award and a Golden Globe Award, having a top-rated late night talk show on BET and most recently an Academy Award nomination, but she is also readying herself to embark upon a highly anticipated comedy tour—Spread the Love Tour 2010. Joining Mo'Nique on this year's Spread The Love Tour will be her BET late night talk show counterpart comedian and actor Rodney Perry, comedian Tone- X, who will serve as the resident Man on the Street for the tour, and DJ Ant.
“On this tour people can expect the kind of laughter that makes the bottom of their stomach hurt,” said Mo’Nique. “And the type of love you'll never forget."
As it makes its trek across the country, Mo'Nique’s Spread the Love Tour will hit 20 cities during its run. The tour will kick off in New Orleans, LA at the Kiefer UNO Lakefront Arena on Saturday, March 19th and will conclude in Connecticut in May. The show comes to Los Angeles on Friday, April 2nd at 8 PM at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE. Tickets range from $39.50 to $69.50. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster locations, charge by phone 800.745.3000 and online at Ticketmaster.com.

The term triple threat would be diminishing from the powerful range, the all consuming presence and the undeniable talent and reach of Baltimore native Mo'Nique. Whether she's spreading the love and empowering women across the country through her outreach or making millions laugh with her unapologetically, raw in your face comedic antics , Mo'Nique continues to touch the masses with her keepin’ it real, no holds barred persona and attitude. Her bold, brassy stand-up routines, in your face humor and straight from the street stories will leave you wanting more. What Mo'Nique will be bringing to each city on the Spread the Love Tour will be no different--real, raw, rowdy and riotous.
Mo'Nique's hard work and dedication landed her own TV sitcom, "The Parkers," which ran for five seasons. She would also go on to host a number of reality shows, including a beauty pageant for full-figured women on Oxygen called "F.A.T. Chance ("Fabulous and Thick")". It was evident that her success wouldn't stop at comedy and TV, it would also be felt on the big screen too. From movies like "The Queens of Comedy" and "Baby Boy," to "Two Can Play That Game," and "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins," Mo'Nique was signaling to the world that she was here to stay. Most recently she took the world by storm in her portrayal of the severely dysfunctional mom Mary Jones in the award-winning, much talked about film, "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire", which just earned her an Academy Award nomination.
Moving from comedy to drama and back again Mo'Nique can and does do it with the greatest of ease and elegance. From tickling your funny bone to taking you to the edge of your seat, the power contained within her performances every time she hits the stage, any stage, is undeniable.

IMAGINE THAT!

Hip-Hop Superstar Snoop Dogg and Comedian Mike Epps

Set to Perform Together in a Live

Hip-Hop Comedy Experience

First Show Set for Tues., April 27th 2010 at Harrah’s Rincon Casino (San Diego)

"Imagine That!" is a hip hop music and comedy experience featuring a live musical performance from hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg and hilarious stand-up comedy from Mike Epps. The two performers are synonymous with urban culture and entertainment, seamlessly combining the worlds of Hollywood and the hood with their multitude of successful endeavors. “Imagine That!” will bring these two superstars together for a limited run of shows in select markets beginning with their premiere show on Tues., April 27th 2010 at Harrah’s Rincon Casino (San Diego).  Other dates include Sat., May 1st at the Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino in Indio, CA, with more dates to follow.

This unique concert combines their stage shows with a story about two night-club performers who end-up having to find a way to get out of prison. The result is Snoop and Mike doing what they do best: entertaining the crowd with music, laughter, and a one-of-a-kind experience.

“This is an incredible opportunity to combine our similar, but different worlds of entertainment together on stage for the first time,” say Epps.  Snoop Dogg adds, “We’ve worked together in the past on some projects and knew that our audiences would love to see us bring hip hop music and hip hop comedy together on stage!”

Standup comedian turned actor, Mike Epps got his first big break performing on HBO's Def Comedy Jam, and soon parlayed his popularity into big screen success with co-starring roles in Ice Cube features like "Next Friday" (2000) and "All About the Benjamins" (2002). The Indianapolis native stood out in Hollywood and has maintained a string of both comedy and dramatic roles on the silver screen. Epps' most recent work includes "The Hangover" (2009), "Next Day Air" (2009), and "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins" (2007).  Epps also recently released his first hip hop comedy album, "Funny Bidness: Da Album", featuring collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Kid Rock and Slim Thug.
In 2007, Epps’ one hour comedy special Inappropriate Behavior aired on HBO and was one of the networks top rated specials of the year.  In 2009, Mike also hosted the BET Hip Hop Awards. Epps currently stars in the Showtime/Comedy Central one-hour standup comedy special, Mike Epps: Under-rated and Never Faded”

Epps will be seen this fall in the Warner Bros. film “Lottery Ticket” also starring Ice Cube, Bow Wow and Brandon T. Jackson.  Also look for him next year in the CBS Films action-thriller “Faster” starring Dwayne Johnson.

It’s his natural appeal to both the hood and to Hollywood that has allowed Calvin “Snoop Dogg” Broadus to stay tremendously relevant through ten releases and numerous side projects. Since bursting into our collective consciousness alongside famed producer Dr. Dre on the 1992 classic The Chronic, Snoop has remained a constant force in Hip-Hop and a household name around the world.

From music to movies, Twitter posts to TV shows (E!’s reality series Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood and MTV’s Dogg After Dark), Snoop Dogg remains not just at the forefront of the rap game but also at the apex of popular culture. And it’s his tales about his view from the top that ensure his tenth solo CD Malice N Wonderland will be yet another classic to add to the ever-growing portfolio. As the Creative Chairman of EMI’s newly reintroduced Priority Records, Snoop will oversee a hefty catalog chock full of gangsta rap anthems (NWA, Eazy E, Master P, Ice Cube) that launched from the streets and infiltrated even the highest suites.

Snoop Dogg recently announced that he will release the follow up to his latest release entitled More Malice: Deluxe Album and Movie on March 23rd.  The new album will feature 5 songs from the previously released “Malice N Wonderland” along with 5 entirely new songs and 2 remixes.  Included with More Malice will be a never-before-seen mini-movie entitled Malice N Wonderland The Movie featuring Snoop in the title role with cameos from Jamie Foxx, Xzibit, Nipsey Hussle and more.  He will also serve as Executive Producer for a series of Priority releases commemorating the label's 25th anniversary in 2010.
