BLOG BLOG BLOG – what is a blog?
(from Wikipedia)
A blog (an abridgment of the term web log) is a website with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. As of December 2007, blog search engine Technorati was tracking more than 112 million blogs.

Not to be left out – the Library has the following blogs for you to peruse:

The Burbank Library Blog: http://www.burbanklibrary.blogspot.com/

Our 2008 Burbank READS Blog: http://burbankreads.blogspot.com/

Storytime Snapshot: http://sillylibrarian.wordpress.com/ Our newest addition – a Blog by Miss Jennifer: “As the toddler Storytime presenter for Burbank Central Library, I have been working on a Storytime blog called "Storytime Snapshot," recording the stories, rhymes, and music that I've presented each week. I have also written a page on the blog dedicated to Storytime planning resources. I hope that this blog can be useful to parents, teachers and librarians who are interested in Storytime and having fun with language.”

You can find your way to all these blogs, and a few other interesting library links – if you just bookmark this page from our library catalog.  Library NEWS INFO & PHOTOS
